Charles B. Moss, Jr.
Charles B. Moss, Jr. is the third generation of a family-run,
century-old real estate and entertainment company based in
Manhattan, with offices in Colorado.
Charley, as he likes to be called, is the grandson of the
legendary vaudeville impresario, B.S. Moss, and the son of Charles
B. Moss, Sr., a radio and television producer and movie theater
owner.
Throughout the 1970s and 1980s, he produced both feature-length
films and Broadway theater shows Today, Charley and his son, Ben
Moss, make up Bow Tie Partners, a real estate and entertainment
company that continues the Moss family tradition of successful
entrepreneurial ventures.
Charley graduated from the University of Pennsylvania before
earning an L.L.B. from the Boston University School of Law. He then
attended the Harvard University Masters of Law Program and graduated
from the Harvard Business School’s Executive Education program. The
first job Charley held in the film industry was as a production
assistant for E.U.E. Screen Gems.
Charley has served on the Board of Directors of Showscan
Entertainment, Inc., a publicly traded, multimedia entertainment
company producing simulated film rides. He was also a Director of
Robins Cinemas, a British company that owns and operates movie
theaters in the United Kingdom. He is the President of the New York
chapter of Variety - The Children's Charity and is Chairman of The
Toronto International Film Festival Group Foundation.
