Jefferson Square in Richmond, Virginia
This 80,580 square foot future development site is
centrally located between the main campus of Virginia Commonwealth
University (VCU) and vibrant, growing downtown Richmond.
Richmond, Virginia’s capital city, is located on
the James River in the low, rolling hills of the Piedmont region, at
the center of the Richmond Metropolitan Statistical Area, which
consists of more than 1,126,000 people.
Three major highways leading into the city, I-95,
I-64 and I-195, form an “inner loop” around the downtown district.
Within this loop are numerous cultural, dining, entertainment and
retail establishments, a vibrant business community, a fast growing
residential community, and several institutions of higher education,
including VCU and VCU’s Medical College of Virginia.
